A piercing fanatic or an edgy fashionista's dream is definitely the corset piercing. A corset piercing consists of two parallel columns of surface piercings along the spine or below the ribs, laced together with ribbon, string, or leather to look like a traditional corset. Although pretty it is only a temporary body mod that is only meant to last the duration of a photoshoot or an event. The myth about tongue piercing!

YOU WILL. NOT DIE from a tongue piercings! The tongue is an extremely duable muscle that is made of tissues that heal incredibly fast after any sort of trauma. The tongue can be pierced multiple times in multiple areas and it can even be spilt in two with minimal risks to ones health. Although a person will bleed and swell quite a bit if a vein is pierced but after removal of the needle and applied pressure with sterile gauze for a few minutes the blood will clot resulting in the a closure to the wound and the beginning of the healing process. First time piercees

Hello Piercing Virgins, before you go under the needle make sure you know who is piercing you. Ask the following questions:
1. How long have you been piercing professionally? Should be atleast 6months for standard piercings.
2. How did you learn to pierce? Should be through some sort trainning under a certified body modificiation artist. Not youtube!
3. May I see your equiment? Everything should be sterlized in sterile packaging and the needle should be one use only.
4. Do you have a portfolio? You should always checkout the piercers portfolio to see if you are satisfied with their body of work..
